In recent years there has been a pivotal transformation in the discovery, understanding, development, selection, and usage of materials thanks to advancements in computational modeling and simulation.

This transformation, paired with inventive geometric design and 3d printing, has birthed a new class of architected metamaterials - multifunctional systems that excel beyond conventional materials without chemical or molecular changes.

This talk introduces the development of a scalable metamaterials pipeline in Houdini that accelerates the design, development, and analysis of architected metamaterials for advanced product design applications, from foam replacements to lightweight porous structures.
